Arts in Education

The Acadiana Arts Council's Arts in Education program strives to make quality arts-in-education opportunities available to administrators, educators and students through performance, hands-on arts experiences, professional development training in the arts and funding. These co-curricular arts-in-education offerings are available to students in grades K-12 and to teachers of all disciplines.

Project HEAL Gallery

From it's inception Project HEAL has been helping local artists and the public at large recover from the unfortunate effects of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. As you can tell by the following pictures, these events and activities have been able to bring a bit of enjoyment and laughter into an otherwise dreary and stressful environment. Click on the event below to see the galleries, and if you happen to have any pictures from a Project HEAL event or performance please send us a message at: info@acadianaartscouncil.org
